Let the music play!

My car is now complete! Me and Kieron (thats my sisters boyfriend, incase you don't know) fitted my autochanger... Well Kieron fitted it and I sort of dotted about looking like i knew what i was doing... Which I didn't. I could see how it all plugged in and everything but I wouldn't have been able to run the cable through. He tucked it up between all the plastic panels and the upshot of it is that you wouldn't even know the cable is there. It is completely invisible. I was all happy and went to do my daily stint at the Legion. Coming out of the Legion at 7 o' clock I did a very stupid thing...

I reversed into a skip.

Now I always try and look for the good in any situation but this one really pissed me off. I had finaly got my car sorted and then I go and bugger it up by cracking my rear bumper on a big blue thunking great lump of metal...

Bollocks.

I will be phoning a few local body shops tomorrow to see if I can get it sorted. Well at 8 o' clock I went down to my nans and watched Top Gear. Whilst watching Top Gear I received a text message. It read:

From: GEMMA
TONKS

gaz, wil U cum with
me to get my navel
pierced tomorrow
?

I thought "this might be fun!" and agreed. Although seriously I suppose it is a daunting task and I will be on hand to offer any support required. I will consider it my good deed for the day.

Changing the subject entirely, yesterday was my great aunt and uncles Golden wedding anniversary. about 25 of the family went to a pub in Abbots Bromley. I drove myself, mother, Selena and Kieron. I was following my nan and grandad. It was a good drive and I had forgotten how driving through the queensway makes you feel like you are in Monaco! We got there early and were stood on the carpark for half an hour until the place opened. I had an 8oz fillet steak with new potatoes. And cherry cheesecake for dessert. Lovely!

We got home much earlier than expected and, since I had booked the night off work, I went over to Adams house. Gemma phoned him and asked if he wanted to go for a drink in the Plough. We both went and talked all night about how Gemma notices when people fancy other people and how she wanted either a vibrator, or a "3 minute man" as a boyfriend... Rather odd, yes but thats how the conversation went. (The navel pircing wasn't mentioned at this point.) We all left at 11:15 and by 11:40 had all gone home and logged on to MSN messenger where we continued talking about... stuff, before we all decided to log off and get some shut-eye.

Well thats that. I am going to get something to eat, I'm hungry!

How lazy am I?

Howdy readers. well I woke up today, glanced at my alarm clock and all I could see was

11:40 am

I thought... "hmm... Thats not right. I wonder why it's saying 11:40?" The answer was very simple. It WAS 11:40. I had not woken up (which is strange for me as I usually get up at about 9:30 If I have nothing to do)
But how bad is that? Half of my day, vanished due to lazyness. Let this be a lesson to you all. Lazyness will defeat the best laid plans (Hey! that sounded like it could make a really good proverb! Lets see if Mr Turbitt will use it on his blog... If he does, I know it has made the grade.)

Thats it for now readers. Consider this blog a therapy session for me, and yourselves as my Psychiatrists.

Damn that card shop

When and how did he borrow my beard and 'tash?

Good company with a good friend

I fitted my CD head unit today! My autochanger is now going in Sunday which will be cool. The tricky part will be running the cable from the boot to the front... Kieron is going to lend a hand (I.E actually fit the thing, whilst I look on in anticipation.)

Well readers, instead of going to the Swan tonight I went to the Coach House in Solihull with Corrine from college. I had forgotten how much fun she is... A right little minx at times. Kate should have been out aswell but she was Ill. Hopefully Corrine will organise a day out at some point and we can have a proper get-together. It will be nice seeing Kate again.

Changing the subject, I have downloaded a 3D earth-viewer. Download it here. It is good fun and it's free. I had much enjoyment finding adams house on it.

Thats about it for now. TTFN readers.

New Additions to my Blog!

Yes fans. I have made some minor changes to my Blog. The first little thing is I now have a hit counter. This is completely pointless but it does look niffty sat there on my side bar. Under the counter I have got a quick link that will, if you so desire, make my blog your homepage... Now I realise that most of you have something a lot more worthy to be looking at when logging on to the 'net, but I would be grateful if you tried it (you can always restore your original homepage afterwards) to see if it actually works. If it does, or even if it doesn't, leave me a little comment to tell me.

Cheers readers.

Another trip to that card shop...

Amazing what you can find if you look hard enough!

Schools. Out. For. Summer....

6 Weeks fully paid holiday... Nice. The last day was fantastic. After a morning of solid tidying up, which wasn't to bad because we were all having a laugh, we had a staff barbeque. The steak burgers were at least a half inch thick, and there was all sorts of stuff like salads and pasta to go with it. After everyone had finished we had a few speeches from staff members who are leaving this year. Namely, Mr Ewing, Mr Kealey, and Mrs Fitzgerald (who gave me a quick kiss before she left...) Now does anyone who went to Woodrush remember that old dinnerlady? she was always moody and had grey hair and glasses. Well she is finally retiring. When she stood up to give a quick thankyou I was expecting to see her smile for the first time in my life... And guess what? She didn't even seem particularly bothered by any of it... It was like she was being operated via remote control... No emotion what-so-ever!

... Then came the really fun part... Yesterday the kids had a bouncy castle for a sponsored "bounce-a-thon" for charity... And it was still there today... So can you guess what all the staff did?

.... Correct. About 15 staff got on to it and started bouncing like lunatics! Me and Mark (another Teaching assistant) were flipping each other trying to do backwards somersaults. Then Rose (yet another T.A) decided it would be fun to try double bouncing and seeing how high she could jump... So she comes bounding over to me and grabs my hands and starts jumping like there's no tomorrow. She stopped though, when she said she could taste her hotdog again, at which point I decided to bounce on my own incase I got in the way of some vomit......

And now to enjoy my 6 weeks. I will be doing as little as possible, and having a few lie-ins.

Ah..... Most relaxing.

Feeling a little animated? (90th post)

I have created my first ever animation!

http://www.fabrica.it/flipbook/flipbook_player.php?id=1121902093-823610858

If that does not work, go to http://www.fabrica.it/flipbook/index.html and in the little "type in a keyword" box put "faulty electrics" which is the title of my little animation!

It is only short, and it just keeps repeating itself but heck! its mine. I hope you enjoy it

End of term is looming...

Ah yes. Welcome to my weekly update, readers. This week, all the paperwork at school has had to be completed and bought up-to-date. No slacking for Mr Evans! Still, I get 6 weeks fully paid holiday starting Monday morning.... Nice.

Tony and Val's wedding on Saturday was fantastic. Tony was dressed in a very expensive looking wedding suit and Val looked fabulous in her long white wedding dress. It was also Jo's birthday so after the service and popping to the reception, I went up to the Red Lion where she was working to give her her card and presents.

I have been busy on line as well during the week. I bought a pirates flag to mark my tent with when I go to Reading at the end of August. I have also bougt a Ford 6000 head unit for my car. It is basically the same but has a CD player instead of a tape-deck. Not content with that, I bought a
Sony T-69 autochanger! I need to back off the spending a bit now. I've had my fun but now it's time to save a bit.

Well I have put a pizza in the microwave and it has just pinged, so I will bid thee fairwell for now.

I was always crap at the 400 meters...

Hi readers. Well this week has been fun. School has been relatively interesting due to sports day yesterday. Everyone was out in the sun and was watching from the 'bank (note, readers who do not know me from woodrush: the school field has an embankment, which means we have an "upper" and "lower" field. The embankment has always been known as "the bank")

on Tuesday I did my stint at the club. Then new guy, Roger is a nice bloke and will see us through the coming weeks. The only slight glitch was that he couldn't get the tills to cash up properly but hopefully he will sort it out (I know how to, obviously, but he wasn't pushing the buttons I told him to!)

Tonight me and father went to the Old Royal Oak pub bikers meeting but we went on the Goldwing. I had forgotten how free you feel on that thing as I haven't been on it in quite a while. We had a drink and walked around, taking note of a few rather cool custom paint jobs on a group of Harleys. Nice. We headed home at about 9:30 and I am now hungry....

Weekly Blog...

Hi gang. As you may have noticed, my blogs are now being uploaded as weekly entries. I think it's easier as each post has something to say, rather than 7 days worth of "nothing happened"

I am now working at the Legion Tuesday nights for the next month because Tony and Val' are getting married and need some time off to prepare. So I am steward on Tuesdays and this does mean that Adam, Carl, Jo, John, and Gemma will only see me once a week for the next 4 weeks(Don't cry guys...)

My GTP has had a mis-hap due to the blundering idiots at Warwick Uni' and I now think that I will have to wait until September 2006 before I start! I am really annoyed about it because I really want to start teaching.

Yesterday we all went upto the Swan. I think we have defected back permanently now, as Thursday we practically get the place to ourselves. The only downer of the night was noticing the rather large, unattractive lady sat behind us with the worste case of builders-arse I have ever seen... It was not a pretty sight and I almost choked on My Guinness and black when I saw it. Next week should be interesting though as everyone except me, Lank, and Dan is off to Newquey, so we shall see what happens.

I am in work at 8pm so I am going to have a lie down...

July already?

Howdy readers. Well it's been nearly a week since my last update, sorry. On Monday all the gang (including Jo who has finished Uni' for the summer. hurray!) went to see Batman Begins. A very good film it is too and I hope they make a new franchise out of it. Tuesday we went to the Plough and had a nice quiet drink.

Yesterday the Packhorse crowd defected back to the White Swan. I haven't been in there since it had the refit. It is quite nice and a lot brighter inside than before which stops it from feeling like a descolate, god-forsaken, rat-hole... Which it did before.

I am in work at the Legion at 8:00pm so I am off to get ready.
