It's Ok... It's not deep.

Hello readers. It's Sunday so I guess that would mean a new blog?

Right then...

I will begin with last Monday. I had just finished typing my blog (for the second time due to I.E. crashing on me!) when I had a phonecall asking me if I wantesd to go bowling. I agreed, whole-heartedly and waited for Adam, Jenny, Carl and Marcus to get to my house before we all set off to pick John up...

Now have you spotted the problem? Because I didn't. I already had 5 people in the car (including myself) and were about to pick John up... Logistical problem. In the end I removed my parcel shelf and left it in John's lounge, Carl got in the boot of my car, and John sat on the back seat! I then shot back to mine so that Adam could get his car, making things easier. So we went bowling and had 2 good games, the second of which I won!

Whilst we were there we made a point of putting some good songs on the jukebox... Until it was Jen's turn to choose, then it became a cacophony of club-mix-beat-box-hippety-hoppety-rappety-crappety-bouncy-thump-bump-shit.

After bowling it was decided that adam give Jenny, Marcus, and Carl a lift back, whilst I drop John off so I could retrieve my parcel shelf. This was all done with precision and I was back home for midnight. I had just climbed in to bed when my phone rang...

... It was Jenny.

Me: hello?
Jen: Gaz, we're in trouble, Adams car has broken down in Houndfield lane...

Now I know how bad it can get down there because of the Ford in the road. The worst possible scenario was that Adam had driven through it, thinking it wasn't very deep and had sucked a load of water in to the engine.

Me: Where on Houndsfield?
Jen: By the Ford.
Me: The Ford?
Jen: He drove through it thinking it wasn't very deep and...
Me: And sucked a load of water in to his engine?
Jen: Yeah. Can you bring a change of clothes for the boys? They're soaked.

... Great...

Well. I got a couple of pairs of trousers and some old shoes and went the long way round to Houndsfield so I ended up on the opposite side to where they went in. The sight was amazing... Adams car, still dripping wet and Adam and Marcus soaked up to their waists after pushig it out. Kel was already there and they had phoned the RAC using Jenny's policy (since Adam isn't a member.) I offered to run Jenny, Marcus, and carl back to Marcus's house so that Jen could get her car and drop Carl back home. Afterwards I decided to caqll back in on Ad' to see if the RAC had arrived...

They hadn't. When they DID finally show up, the idiot came from the same side Adam did and so was on the other side of the Ford, nay, LAKE in the middle of the road. He was certain that he could get through, but stopped trying after his headlamps were submerged! He told me to jump in his van and direct him to the other end so he could look at Adams car. In the van he started chatting to me about Fords and people who drive through them..

RAC: So, like, did he drive straight through?
Me: dunno I wasnt in the car. Left just here, mate
RAC: If he's got water in the cylinders it'll be a new engine.
Me: Well, if you take the air-filter off and remove the plugs can't you suck the water out?
RAC Well yeah. I mean we could but, well I dunno. we'll have to take a look at the...
Me: Hang-on what do you mean "WE"? You're the mechanic!
RAC:... Uh, It says a Miss Jenny Fishbourne called us, where's she?
Me: Turn right, just here. She's gone home.
RAC: Well she can't, I need her there or otherwise I cant look at the motor.
Me: WHAT!?..... Turn left here, mate.
RAC: It's the rules.
Me: Well I tell you what, I'm a member. Switch her details with mine.
RAC: *mumble mumble mumble* number *mumble mumble mumble mumble* Evans
Me: Any good? left again mate and your there.
RAC: Suppose so... mumble mumble mumble Yeah, it's ok.

So we arrived only to find that, luckily, Jenny had come back! So the guy started ripping bits of Adams car apart and came to the conclusion that he needed some new spark plugs. He didn't have any but knew a man who did! he called his mate who came along in a huge pick-up. he came from the opposite side of the Ford as well but he just plowed straight through it!

At about 2:30am he had finished and lo-and-behold Adams car actually started! I got home and in to bed for about 2:45am and got up for work at 7:00am!

Tuesday at work was awful. I couldn't concentrate at all. due to the 4 hours sleep I was trying to survive on. In the evening we all went out...

... I can't quite remember where bit I had to drive because the inside of Adams car was still wet!

Wednesday at work was better because I made sure I got an early night Tuesday evening! I went down to fathers as usual and started to watch "Layer cake" I left before it ended though, and didn't bother watching it at home.

On Thursday at work, I had some painting to do! I started at 3:00pm in the youth centre and finished at about 5:30pm. I was painting part of the set for the school play. We are doing "Willy Wonka" this year and the set is going to look like a big cartoon, almost. I was putting the touches on the glass elevator doors and to do it, I took my shirt and tie off... I had a Tshirt on underneath, though obviously... After painting I went to put my shirt back on only to discover that one of the kiddies had put it on with my tie just to see how big it was on her! (the answer being "very")

Thursday evening in the Packhorse was a laugh, as usual. Everyone was in good spirits, especially Nicola... Who was very well in to just about every good spirit the bar had to offer!

Friday at work, everything just breezed by. it was quite a nice day, despite having to clear A2 of everything and turn it in to a gallery space for the A-level art work which is being Moderated tomorrow.

In the evening Me, Jenny, and Marcus met up with Adam, Carl, and some Transconians in Reflex. Now i had driven so I was feeling almost cheated... A night out, but I couldn't drink... Thats a tough one to cope with. Fortunately Carl came up with the solution... I get bladdered, leave my car on the carpark and kip at his house on the sofa! Well done Mr. Notman. To show how grateful I was I tied 3 balloons to him! (no, really, look...)

And now, the video evidence...

"beautiful"

Anyway, I ended up back at Carls and slept on the sofa. I got up at about 10:30am to go home to take my mum shopping in Tesco's.

In the evening, Kate had a barbeque at her house. Everyone took some food and we arrived to a stone-cold grill... You see there had been some debate, previous to our arrival, about which coals to get... As it turned out they had bought the wrong ones...

After an emergency trip to Sainsburys, by Carl and Jen' and some ingenious building work by Adam, we had our barbeque. There was food, music, free love...

... Well OK, not so much the free love...

... but it was a good party and everyone ended up inside at midnight playing DVD Trivial Pursuit... Which was shit.

At about 1:00am we left and Carl dropped me home.

This morning I have started clearing out my room as It needs decorating... In fact I will leave you there, readers as i had better go and do some more of it!

Going quackers

Hello readers and welcome to a short version of the extensive blog I have just typed right before Internet Explorer crashed and deleted everything I had done...

... I am going out in a bit, and do not want to spend another hour typing it all out again. Sorry...

Right.

On Monday I went out for a drink with Donna. I havent seen her in a while so I thought it would be nice to catch up.

Tuesday evening I went out as per usual with Adam, and Carl to watch "Fantastic 4: rise of the Silver Surfer" It is a good movie and leave sit open for a juicy sequel (Which I imagine they will make at some point)

On Wednesday I went to Fathers and watched some telly, including the final of "The Apprentice" I'm glad that Irish Bitch didn't win...

On Thursday our trip to the Packhorse was made all the merrier with the arrival of Mr Bennett! he hasn't been out in ages due to his football-soccer but was out for a one-night tour of the crowd.

On Friday I raced out of School at 3:30pm and came home. Mother had flown to Glasgow to meet up with someone she met off the internet! (that sounds dodgy, but the guy is actually OK)

So that meant I had the house to myself for the weekend. Now I realise I could have gone crazy, and had a massive house party with lots of booze and scantily-clad women, but instead I...

... Hang on. Why DIDN'T I have a massive house party with lots of booze and scantily-clad women!?

... D'oh!

... Anyway, I didn't.

I spent Saturday trawling round Solihull with John trying to get my dad a fathers day pressie. I got him Bill Clintons autobiography and a Little Britain card!

We then went to Adams and watched "Epic Movie" on DVD. I wasn't expecting much from it and I was glad... Because it isn't very good! I mean it has it's funny moments, but I'm glad i didn't waste an evening in the Cinema to see it! Afterwards we watched TV: The Movie which stars Steve-O and Chris Pontius from Jackass/Wildboyz and is very weird. (really, thats the only way I can think of describing it!)

Ah... On to Sunday. We gathered round Adams again and wondered where to go to spend the day. After driving to Henley and Back without stopping (no, really!) we decided to have a drink in the Red Lion in Earlswood. We then decided to take a walk round the lakes.

No sooner had we started our strole we came across some baby swans...

All together now... "Aaaaw... How cute"

We wandered (lonely as a cloud) around, seeing an alarming number of dead fish, until Adam decided to walk out on to a fishing peg to gaze out across the lake...

Tempting, isn't it!?

After our strole we all ended up in Earlswood park in the kiddies playground!

I'm sure you can guess what happened next! here's my "Documentary" to show you...

ha ha... And another one...

After our frivolity had ended I went down to nans to give dad his pressie and for my tea!

Well readers, thats about it for this post. The only thing left is the Airshow vids' I promised you... These are better than the ones I took on my phone because at this point, we were further in to the show, where some of the juicy stuff happens...

... Enjoy!...

First, the RAF paras' drop in.

Next, a typhoon "Eurofighter" in action (check the noise from it's engines!)

This guy flew his plane SIDEWAYS a few feet from the ground!

An AWACS and escorts come past

And that about wraps it up for this blog, readers.

Chocs Away!

Well readers, here we are again... All be it slightly behind schedule. I have had to wait to post my blog this week due to Youtube having a bit of a spaz and not letting me upload the videos I wanted to share with you. Fortunately that crisis is over and so here we are...

In the interest of time-management I feel that I should skip most of the week (since nothing radically different has happened.) and move on to the weekend since thats where the fun begins!

I will start by telling you that during the week I went to see Oceans 13, which was very good, and I have paid for my Holiday to Turkey! So I am definitely going!

Work has been the same-old-same-old, and everything is as normal...

... So I guess I should get to the meat of the blog by joining the action bright and early Saturday morning. It was arranged that Myself, Kate, Jenny, Marcus, Adam, and Carl go to Drayton Manor Park for the day... Just for something to do! So kate, who was driving, picked me up at 9:00am with Jenny already in the car. The plan was to meet the other 3 (Adam, Carl, and Marcus) in the Park, since they were going from Solihull and would take a slightly different route. We set off and after reaching Junction 12 on the M-whatever-it-was motorway, Kate said that she reckoned that we had gone past it... So we turned round (at the next junction, not just turned round on the motorway!) and sure enough we needed to get off at Junction 10. We headed back and were unsure whether we would have the other 3 ridiculing us for being late. However fate and coincidence play a strange game... We were now aproaching the Park from the other direction, and would need to turn right in to the gates, whereas Carl came from the correct way, and would be turning left in to the gates. So Kate indicated to turn, only to have to wait for... CARL! who came round the corner just as Kate did! We followed them right through the gates and parked next to each other... Honestly, you couldn't get better timing! We paid our way in, and immediately noticed that the park was virtually empty! We waited for the rides to be turned on and got in the miniscule que for G-Force. We took our time going round the main rides and also took some time to go round the zoo... I have visual media for your viewing pleasure, readers...

Penguins! Ha ha! I don't know why but they began flocking towards me when I got my phone out... I can only assume they thought it was feeding time!

Jenny in the Discovery Centre... Drawing a snake in orange Crayon... (6/10. See me.)

Maelstrom... I can't ride it. I puke... Lots.

Anyway. After doing just about everything we could, Kate had to leave because she was going for a night out with some friends. The rest of us hung around and did G-Force a few more times... Here's the vid' I took from the ground. Carl and Marcus were sat in the front seats...

Ah... T'was a good day! The time came however to go, and so the 5 of us remaining got in to Carls car ready to go... We set off and dropped Adam home, then Went to Carls and waited for him to change, went to Kates so that Jen' could get her car, then to mine where they waited for me to get changed before going back out for a chinese.... Gasp!

We decided that going for a chinese at Woks Hall in Solihull would round the day off nicely. I phoned Adam to let him know but got no answer. Carl tried him only to discover that the Nit-wit had gone and got himself a take-away! (Infact, Jenny commented that Adam wouldn't come back out, but I said "nay, Mr. Turbitt will not let us down..." But he'd ordered his chinese so there was little point in him coming to Woks Hall with us.... Mr. Turbitt... You nutter!)

Anyhoo' We went and gorged ourselves with spicy aromatic duck, and Thai green curry, and sweet and sour chicken, and all the other delights of the orient. When it was time to go I was feeling like I needed to fast for a week to let the food digest!

I got home and went to bed because on Sunday I was on another day out... I was going to the RAF Cosford Airshow! I have been before about 5 years ago and i loved it, so I was looking forward to what would be there this time.

The show was amazing. Every type of aircraft going, and then some! Of course the Red Arrows were in attendance... Look at the piccy, and watch the vid'...

There were also some biplanes with ladys on the wings... No, really! They were wing-walkers and they were good at what they did! (again... pic, vid...)

Now I must appologise... You see readers I forgot to charge my phone the night before and while I was there my battery went in my phone! I do however have some video footage using my sisters W810i But I need her memory card to upload everything to youtube. In fact, all the really good stuff is on my sisters phone (including the bit where they demonstrated a live bombing!)

So I am now at a loss... I will give you all a "gallery post" sometime in the week when I get her mem-stick.

After the airshow we left, but unfortunately there was only one exit... and a mile-long que across several fields to get out! After 2 BLOODY HOURS! we managed to get out and get down to my nans for tea as normal.

I suppose, with the lack of footage, that I will have to leave you there readers.

I will do a "catch-up" in the week. For now though, this is Flight Comander Evans saying "Delta-Two-Four, Over." (I think that means "I've had enough of typing... bye bye")

TTFN.

Splat, Splat, Splat.... Ouch!

Hello readers. Welcome to another thrilling installment, this time all about my half-term week...

Which to be honest, hasn't been full of much to talk about... The formula has been quite simple:

Get up. Eat. Lounge about. Eat. Go out. Come home. Eat. Bed

All throughout the week. Anyway, I will start with Monday. I got up and lounged about the house all day. In the evening, myself and John went to Carls house. No Adam, though, since he was on holiday in Devon.

The exact same paragraph could be used to describe Tuesday as well, but i'd rather show you what Tuesday was like with a little video clip I took...

But before that, let me set the scene...

At Carls house, we decided to give Warioware a blast on the Wii. Now Carl has unlocked a peculiar jumping game, where two players make their characters jump, by jumping themselves...

Just watch!

"We are gay" ... Your words, Mr Notman, not mine!

OnWednesday I saw father as usual, and on Thursday I went to the Packhorse...

... Oh, after helping Grandad repair the fence posts...

On Friday It was back to Carls house (I think, I lose track of the days during the hoidays!) for more computerised, digitised, (and some other words ending in "-ised") entertainment.

On Saturday me, Carl, and John were invited round to Selenas to have a go on the Halo 3 Beta. I bought along Guitar Hero 2. Kieron had a go, but I don't think it's his type of game!

Which brings us on to Sunday... Sunday was a good day... Of sorts.

Me, Selena, and Kieron went Paintballing! It was in Wolverhampton and it was organised by John Hands, who I haven't seen since Selenas party in November. He was one of the original skiiers and was there the first time we went to Canada. We left my house at 7:45 and after an hour driving, going the wrong way because of my directions being wrong, we got to the venue. We were split in to 2 teams, green and blue and were given the usual safety talk. Afterwards we got stuck in to some games... We, the blue team, were noble warriors. Humble, and honest... But the green team were a bunch of lying, cheating, no-good, gits!

**Warning: rant alert**

I personally shot one of the bastards twice in the shoulder, and the fat little fucker wiped it off!!! In one match, one guy had 4 people, of which me and kieron were 2 shooting at him, and although he was pretty well shot up, he was still firing back! In one of the indoor matches, selena had been iliminated, and the guy that shot her waited until she was walking off the battlefield as a "dead" player, and shot her point-blank in the visor, so she couldn't see! I mean talk about pathetic!

Phew...! Right... Well. I too suffered at the hands of a green-team bastard... I had been iliminated and was walking off the battle field when someone decided it would be funny to shoot me in the back at point-blank range... It was not funny. I actually felt the round shudder my LUNG slightly!

To prove it, I took a photo of the bruise...

Check that out! You can see the smaller hits on my body as well, but come on! Is that not the best bruise you have ever seen!?

Anyway, we left the death-zone at about 3:40 after losing 90 points to 60 to the cheating greens. We shot home and I went to Selenas with my xbox before going to nans as per usual.

So Monday... Today. I am out later, readers so i wil bid thee farewell...

You're going to have to wait until next week to find out what im going to get up to!
