200 and still going strong!

Hello readers, and welcome to my 200th post! Yes, that's right. 200! (I wonder if anyone has read them all?)

Ok, so on with the show and I will start, as I usually do, from the begining...
Monday was normal... Too normal. So in the evening we decided to go bowling. Everyone got to my house and I drove up to Rubery with John, Jenny, Marcus and Adam. Whilst there we noticed the rather numerous songs being played involving black people with hoods, rapping about their bitch-ass hoe's and pimping their honeyz (I think thats got something with very good quality gardening equipment and sampling various preserves, but I could be wrong.)
So me and John stuck some cash in the video jukebox and selected some proper music. We had 2 games of bowling and Jenny won the first (I think) and I won the second (with an impressive 162) This was down to the fact that I had chugged a pint of Guinness before I played the second game... Now don't ask me why but I always bowl better after a pint. It has become a sort of ritual when I play that I wont win unless I down a Guinness and black at some point. Ah, I love my little quirks! Anyway, after a good night, everyone ended up back at mine before going home to bed.
On Tuesday, I found myself awake to a dull pain in my right shoulder. You the one I mean, it's that dull ache you get in your joints after you have been excersising. Swinging a bowling ball for a few hours is more than enough to bring that on! Anyway I got to work to find myself on cover lessons. I had to teach History and Music because we had staff off ill. History was ok, all the work was relevant and mildly entertaining so the class got on with it. Music on the other hand... Well that was a different story...
The class was a class of, lets say "not top-set students" and the work was not entertaining enough... Well, not as entertaining as turning on all the keyboards and bashing them with pens, pencils, other students.... you name it. I ripped the main power box off the desk and pulled the plug. This was, apparently "unfair" and I quickly lost my popularity stakes....
... Like I give a fuck!
I tried to get them to work in silence, but thats like trying to scoop air in to a tidy pile. They didn't get much work done, and to be honest I didn't really teach them anything. It was more crowd-control than teaching. After that, and my usual time-tabled lessons I was exhausted!
When I got home at about 4:30 I got changed, and relaxed for a bit before Adam and Marcus turned up at my house, because we were going in to Birmingham for a chinese at "The Big Wok."
(thats "Chinese" and not some other, derogatory or rascist, term!) We shot down to Johns to pick him up, and then on to Jenny's. After she piled in, it was on to Brum! I ended up parking in a carpark in a road that I don't know the name of... If that helps. We went in and was seated immediately. We ordered drinks (I had a bottle of chinese lager. It's quite nice!) Marcus had tea (!?) and the others had cokes and the usuals! We dived right on in to the starters (not literally, we'd have burned ourselves) which were good, then on to the main couses, with all the chickeny and noodely goodness, then we tried the duck in pancake with hoisin sauce, then dessert...
Now the Ice cream machine is like the sort you get in icecream vans... But bigger. John was the first to use it, but couldnt quite get it to stop... So his bowl was getting more and more full, to the point where I was considering running back to the table to try and disassociate myself from him, incase he ended up with ice cream over his shoes and all over the floor! thankfully he managed to stop it in time and we all relaxed a little bit. The ice cream is nice, but a bit bland. They could use a raspberry sauce dispencer! After we had our fill we walked back through the arcadian and found a quiet bar to have a drink in, although mine was a shandy. Afterwards we went home as Jen' wasn't feeling 100% I was quite tired so wasted no time in going to bed!
Wednesday... Wednesday was good. work was quite a pleasure, and I got home slightly earlier than usual, at about 4:00pm. The evening was the best bit though... You may have heard on the news last week that they are bringing speedway back to Birmingham, at Perry Barr stadium. Well last Wednesdasy was the first meeting so me and father went along! It was packed out with people and had full radio coverage on BBC WM with Tony Butler! We found a spot just on the lower corner. I have a couple of videos, but they are naff, and only one decent photo....

Yep' sorry. All the rest are blurred, or taken as the bikes shot round the corner and out of frame, or with peoples heads in the way! During the course of the evening there were, naturally, a couple a falls, and spills right on the corner meant a few races had to be restarted. After the 18th race we started to head back to the car to try and beat the crowd. There were 20 races so we listened to them on the radio in the (warm) car! It was a good evening. Back at fathers, we watched a bit of TV before I came home.

I got up Thursday morning and I swear I could still hear engines ringing in my head! (those bikes make such a racket!) I got to work to find I had to teach another music class! It was a different group, though. Year 11's which are fine. It was a relaxing hour! After my usual bout of running around trying to accomplish tasks that are on my ever-growing "to-do" list, though I was ready to come home!!! 4:30 couldn't have come sooner, and so off I went, along with other members of staff who weren't subjected to year 11 parents evening (which is what it was, on Thursday)

Aftera session on my 360 and something to eat, Lank arrived as always to go to the Packhorse. No photo's this time readers, so you will have to trust me when I say that it was a good evening... Or at least it was when i got some cash! I needed some, and I knew that the Packhorse had a cash point... Except that it wasn't working, so we dived back in to lanks car and went up to Morgams (sorry, I mean Mills) so that I could actuallly get a round in! After a quality evening, even we had to call it a night at about 12:00-ish, and Lank dropped me home...

Ok, Friday... Friday morning was a bit of a headache and work wasn't particularly thrilling, so I wont bother blogging it. i will skip to the evening. I was meeting up with Kate from college, who I haven't seen in quite a few months (since October, in fact!) I drove up to Solihull for about 7:40pm and got to the Coach House (which is where we had decided to meet) just in time to grab a table! Kate arrived about 10 minutes later, after having to change her shoes in her car! We had a drink and a natter and then decided to get something to eat. We usually end up in Nando's but we opted for La Tascas instead. The waitress (who was very friendly, and kept touching my arm!) showed us to a nice little table in the corner. I had an omelette-type thing, and a cheesecake for dessert... Kate just had a dessert! (I could never do that, I would feel cheeky just ordering pudding.) After another drink it was time for home. Kate showed me her new Clio and then dropped me over to my car in it. I then shot home as I was actually quite sleepy... You the sort, that "I've just eaten a really good meal, and would now like to lie down" kind of sleepy.

Right, on to Saturday. During the day I didn't really do much. I had fish and chips for dinner though, which was nice. Then Adam rang and asked me what I was doing. I said that I was a free agent and suggested a trip to the cinema. TMNT was out and I was up for a bit of nostalgia. I drove over to Ad's house and we dived in his car to shoot up to solihull. When we got there, we saw that Mr Beans Holiday was also out, so we decided on the spot to watch that instead. (I think Adam felt that going to watch Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles was a bit childish!) It was funny though, especially the scene involving the cycle race! After the film Adam came up to my house where we decided to have a crack at Oblivion on the 360. I haven't played it in ages so it was good fun. At about 11:15pm it was time to call it a night and Ad' left. I went upstairs to read a bit more of my book (Digital Fortress by Dan Brown) before going to sleep!

This morning, I awoke at about 10:00am. I haven't really done much exept start blogging for you, dear reader... Um... So I suppose I will have to leave you there until next week.....

TTFN!

I've seen Corey Taylors bottom!

Hello readers, welcome once again to the ongoing story of my grand mis-adventures. I will start by going back to last Sunday and pick up the story about 6 hours after posting my previous blog...

Sunday 11 march was the day that Myself, Jason, and Gemma went to see Stone Sour at the academy! I am a huge fan and I have always said that I would love to see them live. We decided to go early and have a drink in Scruffy Murphys. We caught the 50 bus at 5:15 (along with some Woodrush kiddies who were also going to the gig!)

By the time we got to town the queue was already quite long and the doors didnt open until 7:00pm anyway, so off to Scruffy's it was. We had a few drinks and by the time 7:00pm came the queue was up to the pub anyway! So we got in line and waited....

At 7:45pm we got in! jason got a round in (good lad) and we took our positions on the side, about halfway back. After the warm-up Stone Sour came on to a massive roar from the crowd. Corey (with his new shaved head) said hi and they dived right in to a really good set. For many people though, the highlight was when, half way through everybody but Corey left the stage and he did a couple of songs on his own. he played Sweet Home Alabama and Wicked Game! My video is crap so I have found one on Youtube taken at the Birmingham gig...

Sorry, thats the best I could find! anyway I did manage to get a decent photo of him...

there he is, look... Right there in the middle. Do you see him?

After that he mooned the crowd (hence the title) and continued with the band. They finished up with "Get Inside" off the first album and were, sadly, off stage for about 10:45pm. It was a most excellent evening and Jason and Gemma enjoyed it as well.

So move on to monday morning... When getting up for work was a struggle. My limbs felt like their joints had been welded shut, with all the moshing that went on the previous evening. (You've all been there) To top it off, School wasn't all that exciting. I had the usual tasks to do and did them as always, with the exception of compiling a questionnaire for the upcoming student interviews, which I should have done, but the person who had the paperwork was in a day-long meeting! Yes. They somehow justify it! (god-knows how though.)

I had a call from Jenny when I got home asking if everyone was up for a pup quiz in a pup called the saxon over in Cheswick. Since it sounded fun, and it was somewhere we had never been, we went. Adam drove, following Jen' and at 7:30pm we pulled on to the carpark...

... Which was virtually empty, exept for a few cars and a gang of chavs sitting on an old fence.

I then read the notice:

The Saxon

All Day Food

Families Welcome

Pub Quiz: Sunday

Great! Only 24 hours late for the quiz! We had a few drinks anyway before going back home to bed. Better luck next time I suppose...

Tuesday was boring. In the evening we had planned to go and see "Epic Movie" at the cinema, but they were only showing it at weekends at 5:00pm or some silly time. So that was that idea crushed. We ended up just messing about on Lukes iBook (leeching an uncoded wireless internet connnection from a local source for free!) before just going home as per usual... Ah well. Cheap evening I suppose.

Wednesday at work I completed the task of sorting out pricing for the school beautification project! I have compliled a list of retailers that sell the things we need, stuff like picture hanging solutions, exterior paint providers, and all sorts of other little things.... See readers, my job isn't all just screaming kids and emptying glue-pots! (although I do sometimes do that!)

In the evening I went down to fathers as usual and we watched the christmas episode of little Britain (the one with George Michael) just because I hadn't seen it in ages! Afterwards I went home, had something to eat, and went to bed.
Thursday at school was good! I got a lot done and was, for some random reason, in a really good mood! I helped out in one lesson by demonstrating the style of Francis Bacon (which I have done before)

I quite like it. I'm getting good at drawing with marker pen on a white board! Apparently it is very difficult and the other art teaches never really attempt it.

Anyway I went to the packhorse in the evening with Lank as usual. whilst there I put on Kaz's sunglasses (as you do) and was snapped by Lank...

This picture just about sums up our evening! Everyone enjoyed themselves and a merry time was had all-round!

On Friday (which came far to early... I nearly overslept!) we had a non-uniform day for Comic relief. This was good, but the day got better!

Mr Hiscocks (yes, he is still there) daughter works for Damien Hirst... This I did not know. Damien Hirst is mates with an artist called Banksy. (he is a recluse, very few know who he is!) and as a result, she got her hands on an ORIGINAL Banksy picture... And Mr. H. bought in in to school! I have been a fan of banksy's ever since I saw "Wall and Peace" a few years ago. To actually hold one of his prints was amazing!

But it gets BETTER! he said that Damien Hirst, on the odd occasion, visits schools! and that she might be able to "sort Woodrush out" with a visit from the man himslf! This, to put it bluntly, would be absolutely, fucking, amazing! Think about it:

I WOULD GET TO ASSIST DAMIEN HIRST IN MAKING A PIECE OF ARTWORK!

How cool? VERY COOL!

Anyway, after work I came home and just watched TV until 8:00pm when I went to my nans for a chinky! I love the chinese place at the top of Sladepool Farm road. Their rice-noodle and ginger chicken is amazing! I came home feeling rather stuffed!

Right. On to Saturday (i.e yesterday)

Adam phoned to see if i wanted to go in to Brum for a shop. I decided I needed to get out of the house so I went over to his, and we caught the train from Widney Manor. We spent 4 hours trawling the shops. I eventually got my mum a bath set for mothers day from BodyCare in the pallasades. We got back to Solihull for 5:00-ish and Adam called in to Notcutts for some candles and to have a chat with the parrotts!

After getting back to Ad's and watch him kill some goblins as a level 36 Vampiric High-Elf on Oblivion (no, seriously!) I left for home... I got showered, changed and ready to go...

... Back to Brum! Because it was Donnas' birthday on Thursday eveyone was going to Reflex on Broad Street. On the way we noticed that Selfriges was lit up in green for St Patricks day...

Not the best photo because I was walking along at the time. Still, it looks ok I suppose. We got to Reflex and met up with some of Donnas other friends. It was a good night despite everyone being packed in to the place like sardines! Everyone had a good dance and when they played "Walk 500 miles" by the Proclaimers, everyone was singing "Roll 500 miles" and filling in with "Bobby Davro, Bobby Davro" like the Brian Potter/Andy Pipkin version shown the night before on Comic Relief! If you haven't seen it, it's on youtube... Oh what the heck here's the link...

CLICKY!

Me, Dan, and Lank left at about 2:00am and waited for half an hour to get a taxi in the wind and the rain! On the way back the taxi driver had to slow because of a car bumper in the road... I thought "thats odd" and then looked to my left where I saw WHY there as a car bumper in the road!... Absolute carnage! there was a 3 car pile up on the side of the road and a bunch of big black men having fisticuffs over it.

I got in for 3:00am and fell in to bed. I had a good time and so did Donna.

I got up early thismorning (just) to deliver my nans pressie with Selena and came back for my Sunday lunch...

In fact, dear reader, as I sit here typing this, I am still in the process of digesting my dinner...

I will eave you there since I am doing an emergency shift at the Legion in an hour! Val phoned me the other day to see if I can come in. I agreed since I haven't seen the place in ages. The only problem is that everytime I visit they always offer me my old job back, and start going on about staffing and how good I was and blah blah blah... It is most unsettling. I don't know if they are trying to guilt me back in to working there or what, but it's annoying.

Anyway, thats that little rant over with. Catch you next week readers!

TTFN.

Dance your cares away, worries for another day....

Welcome readers, to another weekly edition of my little blog.

Well, where to begin? I suppose I could go on about my birthday but that really would be jumping the gun slightly so I guess I'll start from the most interesting point of last week, which would be Tuesday.

It had just gone 3:00pm and I was getting ready for the 10-or-so kids that come to "Art Club" after school. I had opened the cupboard to get some things out and was casually biting my nails, as I most often do. Whilst biting my thumb nail though I felt something give way. I looked at my nail and realised that it was intact... So what the hell had crunched? Answer: My tooth! Not the whole tooth (and nothing but the tooth! ha ha... sorry) just a little piece of enamel off the edge of my front gnasher. It looks like a little gateway in to the tooth itself. Quite strange. Needless to say I was surprised. If my teeth are going soft then I want it put right imediately! Unfortunately the dentists were closed by the time I left school so I decided to go on Thursday... I left at 3:30pm (which is early!) and shot back down to the dentists on Prince of Wales Lane. Now it must be said that I havent been to the dentists in a few years and I wasn't registered with anyone. So I went in and asked if I coud join their dental plan and told me about my tooth. The lady on the desk (who looked like her name might have been Sharron, or Tracy... You get the picture) told me to fill out a form and she would book me in. Whilst she was tapping away on the keyboard she was firing questions at me...

Sharron: Naim' ?
Me: Gareth.
Sharron: Ser-naim'
Me: Evans.
Sharron: EE-VEE-AY-EN-ESS?
Me. Yep.
Sharron: 'Ow long as it been sinse yoo visitid a dent-hist?
Me. About three years I thi-
Sharron: Eny nown Ullerjic reac-shuns?
Me. Uh, none that I know of.
Sharron: Eny 'Istory of 'epilepsee or 'art trubble?
Me. No.
Sharron Are yoo pregnunt?
Me. .............?
Sharron:.... Probubly not

At this point I gave her the form back and asked when my appointment was. She said the only available slot was 5:00pm on the 27th of March... And I would have to pay £30 there-and-then to secure the appontment! So I paid up. I suppose if it gets my tooth sorted it's worth it.

In the evening I went down to fathers as usual, but UNusualy that is not where we stayed... We headed over to one of the Laaads houses, a Mr Andy Lake (that spelling of "lads" will be made apparent later on) to try and finalise the skiing holiday in April. We have the flight booked but are in the process of playing a couple of hotels off against each other to get a good deal. Whoever gives us the lowest price will be booked! It's a lovely situation to be in, knowing that a 1000 miles away 2 fat Austrians are fighting and undercutting one another just for you...

Anyway we left at 10:30pm and I drove home from fathers. I didn't really do much exept eat some porridge (because my tooth was still feeling weird) and go to bed.

So I woke up on Thursday the 8th of March 2007 and the first thing I did was become older! 25, quarter of a century... I'm in my "mid-20's" now and i wonder if things will change? I suppose only time will tell.

I didn't really have time for cards and stuff, I had to get ready for work. The day went much like any other. Sal' (who's birthday it also on the 8th) had given me a card with a badge on it saying "Expert beer drinker" and I was told I had to wear it... So wear it I did! After school was done with I went home to open cards and presents. I admit I didn't really have many presents as such because I just asked people for money. I did get a few things to open though. My nan bought me some paint brushes and chocolates. and my aunt and cousins got me a HMV card and a My Chemical Romance T-shirt (which, as I type this, I am wearing.) I then went down to my nans to see her (and get my pressie! ha ha!) Now the story of my nans present is one exciting tale...

It begins in January. My dad and all the lads were going skiing in Lake Tahoe, America, because it was the 20th year they had been away on the lads ski holidays. You see, dear reader there are usualy 2 ski holidays per year. The normal family one, that anyone can go on, and there is the lads skiing holidays. (Over 18's only) I have been to pretty much all the family ones, and 3 of the lads holidays making me a fully paid up "lad." Now the lads holidays are never booked in a school holiday. It ramps the price up, and the pistes are always packed with people. So since starting at Woodrush over 2 years ago, I havent been able to go. I wasn't able to go to Lake Tahoe either, obviously which I was disapointed about. It was decided that because it was the 20th aniversary holiday something special had to be done. The answer was personalised fleeces and hats: My dad and Pete Twist went and found a company that did that sort of thing and made everyone who was going on the 20th matching, but personalised apparel. Now, one of the lads (a Mr Michael Murphy) doesn't say "lads" he pronounces it "laaads" (see, I told you the spelling would become apparent!) So the clothing had "The laaads on tour" on the front, with the owners name, and all the dates and places skiied on the back, much like tour dates on a band Tshirt. The hats (which were supposed to match the jackets, but Pete Twist deliberately picked ones which were bright orange!) had "The laaads on tour" on the front. They looked brilliant, but sadly, much to my dismay, I didn't have one made for me since I wasn't going on the trip....

... Or so I thought! Originaly, I really WASN'T going to get one, but my nan thought of this prior to the order and asked my dad to include me in the list so that she could give it to me on my birthday.
It was a good present. The only thing is that I now have the dubious honor of being the only member of the 20th aniversary list who wasn't on the actual holiday... And I'm not sure if anybody is going to wear them again! Ah well.... it's all good
Anyway I left my nans and went home to get ready for the packhorse. Lank was ship-shape again and so he was out in force for the first time in almost a month! At the swan my dad came for a pint and so did aunty Jan. I had a few more cards and a few drinks bought me and it was a very good night. We left at about midnight as usual, completely knackered!
Friday was boring... Oh except for the evening when I went back down to my nans for a chinese. I ate about 3 meals worth of food. Rice, noodles, chicken... The list is endless. Why do you always eat more than you can comfortably handle when it comes to chinese food?
Ah Saturday. I took Donna for lunch at the Red Lion in Earlswood. I hadn't seen her over my birthday so I picked her up and drove us out for a bite to eat. when we got there we found a table and ordered I had steak (as always) and donna had a burger that was actually a bagel... Yes I know, weird, but it lookedquite tasty. After passing up the opportunity for dessert I dropped her home. I then went over to selenas since thats where mum and nan were. I got there at about 3:30pm and sat down to watch a very good copy of Ghost Rider on DVD. I had been to see it at the cinema but decided to watch it again. The copy, however had bits of the film missing. Nothing major, just little scenes here and there that were either cut short, or had dialogue missing. There was probably about 20 minutes of film gone in total. Ah well, no matter.
After leaving at 6:00pm I rallied the troops for a night out. It was supposed to include lots of people from the Packhorse, but i hadn't heard off them. I didn't know if they were going up to Solihull (like they said) or not. I got Jenny and Marcus, Jason and gemma, Dan, and Adam on board and we all met up in Weatherspoons in Solihull. We had a couple of bevvies before moving on to Loaf, or Loft, or whatever the fuck it's now called. We all had a good bop' on the dance floor and expended some pent-up energy, not to mention some pent-up cash in the process! It was 2:45am when we caught the taxi... We dropped Adam home and then directed the cabbie to Wythall. Before going to bed I needed something to eat, so microwaved a cornish pasty and melted some cheese over ther top of it, and topped it with a splash of worcestershire sauce and a squirt of ketchup... Magic! I then collapsed in to bed and slept soundly until 10:45 this morning, where I woke up, gathered my head, had something to eat and began blogging!
I will leave you there dear readers as I am about to go and give Dan his birthday card since he to now joins the mid-20's club.
TTFN dear readers.

4 Days to go

Hello readers and another blog is here for you to cast your eyes over. I will start, however with a subject close to my heart...

In 4 days I will be a quarter of a century old.

... A BLOODY QUARTER!!!!!

How the hell has that happened!? I haven't done anything. I mean I've always tried to have a bit of fun and a laugh with everything life throws at me but if you actually add it all up, I have done very little. I don't own my own property, my career has been in the freezer for 3 years now and I already have grey hairs in my beard. What in blazes have I done? I wanted to travel, to live a bit, yet now, nearing 25 I'm thinking "shit, I've left this a bit late"

Oh... Screw it, it was only a pipe-dream...

Right, lets blog. Basically this week has been identical to last but with a few tweaks in it. So to save time I will blog the tweaks and not the rest of the nonsence bullshit (hey, I realise your time is valuable, dear reader.)

At the end of last week I ordered, via the BBC website, an official TopGear "I am the Stig" T-shirt. It arrived on Wednesday and I am very proud of it. It is Navy blue with "I am the Stig" written across the chest and a picture of the Stig on the back with the TopGear logo underneath. To add to the fun factor, the label on the inside reads: "These products have been tested on animals...... They didn't fit" which I thought was an interesting touch. I then had a bit of fun by telling Selena that I had a new T-shirt but didn't tell her what was on it. She is a big fan of TopGear like me so I deliberately decided to make her guess what it was. I had about 20 texts on Thursday evening with random thoughts as to what my new super-cool apparel could be...

... She didn't guess it.

... She relinquished and had to wait until Saturday to see it (but I will get to that in a moment)

On Friday I stayed in and just messed about on youtube. I was watching a series of short clips of Ray Park (who played Darth Maul in The Phantom Menace) doing some martial arts stuff and then doing some work with a replica Darth Maul Lightsabre staff and a regular lightsabre. I noticed he seemed to be able to twirl it at an incredible rate and wondered how he was doing it. Surely his wrists aren't able to travel 360 degrees are they? I typed in (just on a whim) "Lightsabre techniques" in to Youtube and lo and behold there are a series of vids with this guy explaining some Jedi moves... I decided it would be a laugh to watch so I started going through them one by one. Then I did something that qualifies as super-geeky... I picked up my sisters (no, really, it is!) toy lightsabre and had a go! You'd be suprised at how quickly you fall in to the trap of complete lunacy! I actually found myself getting annoyed when I couldn't do lesson nine! (although now I can... I don't know if that qualifies as a good thing or not, though) Anyway, that just about sums up Friday.

Saturday morning my Grandad and my uncle Ron' came round to shift Selenas organ to her flat. (Ron has a people carrier which made it easier.) We got it in and about 20 mins after they had gone I saw Selenas car pull up outside. I rushed up stairs and put my Stig T-shirt on! After the unveiling she burst out laughing! I would have thought she would have guessed it but she said she had no clue!

In the Evening I went up Brum'. I met Jason, Gemma, Becky, and her friend Tom at the Maypole to catch the 50 bus (bus? what the hell is a bus?) to Town. We were to meet Nicola and Spike in the Academy...

... Or so I thought.

We met them in Scruffys, (fantastic place!) before moving on to the newly reopened Exposure! I remember drinking in there years ago when I was at college. Every so often we would say to our tutors that we were going up to the Gallery for research, but always ended up in Exposure, at lunchtime (at the age of 16, I might add) with a round of beers... Ah, happy days. Then it had some sort of legal issue with management and ownership and the whole place shut down. yesterday was the second night of the new Exposure and it felt good to be back in the ol' watering hole.

We left at god-knows what time and I can't remember going to bed. I woke up thismorning with a groggy head, but thankfully it's gone now.

I will leave you there readers, since dinner is almost done....
